Paul Constable and James Korpan
Location: Humboldt and District Gallery
This exhibit is an observance and personal interpretation of the transitioning of life forms, with paintings by Constable depicting the integration of bones in the landscape and reused metal sculptures of raptors by Korpan. Intrigued by the increasing amount of wildlife carnage on the highways, the exhibit portrays the subtle transitions as new carcasses replace the previous, while old ones are pushed to the side and dispersed into the landscape.
