This exhibition features ceramic face jugs.  The history of these unique pieces of art dates back to the early 14th century although no one knows the exact purpose of these mugs. Today they are highly sought out by collectors around the world.  Because of the historic elements of ceramic face jugs, this exhibition will educate, entertain, and enlighten its viewers to the age-old folk-art of “faces in clay”.
