It's A Shoe In

30 sculptural ceramic pieces by 15 artists

Location: Humboldt and District Gallery

Exhibition Juror Heather Smith, Curatorial Director at the Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery, selected 30 sculptural ceramic pieces by 15 artists from the Sask Terra Group for this imaginative and funky footwear exhibit.
Smith says It's A Shoe In (2014) "reminds us that setting limitations of any kind (i.e. shoe theme) can be invigorating for anyone's creative process," and "the range of creative responses to the deceptively simple material of clay...is impressive."
Join us in celebrating these diverse and thoughtful responses to clay - a dynamic medium shaped by many Saskatchewan craftspeople for years!

Featuring works by:
Cec Cote, Teresa Bzowy, Allan Phillips, Shelley Kaszefski, Susan Robertson, Mary Ferguson, Linda Leslie, Helen Cooke, Elain Harrison, Heather MacDonald-Sorochan, Louise Cormier, Monique Martin, Paula Cooley, Lorraine Sutter, Teresa Gagne and Judy Tryon.
